Pay per view
Free Comic Book Day is great to help bring back old readers and to bring in new ones. We don't really have any readers who have strayed away from us because well we just haven't been around long enough. What we could use is more new readers. Then we had the brilliant idea of taking advantage of the greatness of the day and giving our comic away. Darn it. Okay we can't even give this thing away. Sometimes when I am in the real world and make someone laugh I use it as a pitch for the comic. "Enjoy my sense of humor? You'll love my weekly web comic Cannot Save Here." Sometimes it works. Of course we're not sun bathing in paradise so we must not be working hard enough.
You'll notice with your keen comic eyes that Aaron put The Avengers behind me and kept The Dark Knight on his side of the strip. That's no accident. Aaron loves himself some Avengers and Superheroes in general, but there's a very special spot in his heart for The Greatest Detective, Batman. Like many people, I can't wait to see Nolan's final chapter in his trilogy, but Aaron can't take a moment and enjoy the delicious treat we have right now. Batman will be waiting for us in the Summer when The Avengers is just leaving the theaters. No need to rush it. And hey no hard feelings if the Marvel boys outsell DC's Golden Boy.
